When asked to come up for a ‘Friday Special’ I was racking my brains for something to post about. So, I started to think about what I enjoy or what shocks me, what grabs my attention or makes me gasp. So, this segment is all about the odd, different and quirky things that go on in Fanfiction. I'm talking those parings that make you squint at the screen to make sure you’re reading it right, and the WTF moments that leave you slack jawed and stupid, wondering how the hell they managed to make that shit work.
So basically, this will be a place for rec’s, authors interviews, maybe even some in-depth god knows what from me and my mind. And let’s face it, that’s always odd. So...when I search for a fic to read, I like to look for something different, something that pushes the boundaries or that runs away screaming from the norm...basically something that catches my eye. Now that the Darkest Temptations have given me my very own soap box I shall be focusing on the good, the bad and the downright weird. If you know of, have read or write something that comes under this title, I wanna know about it!
Now this author has written some of my favourite fics as well as some of my favourite parings, even so and with my propensity towards all things different, when this alert landed in my inbox I was hesitant to read a Twilight/Batman crossover...and more importantly a Bella/Joker paring. Yep, you heard me people.

Here’s the summary...
The Joker's escaped from Arkham, and he only has two things on his mind - causing the Bat some trouble and making some mischief. That's until he meets Isabella Swan. He wants to corrupt every inch of her - will Bella let him show her madness? Joker/Bella
See now, at first glance...this shouldn’t work. It’s depraved...putting poor little innocent and Bambi eyed Bella with such a perverted monster. Yeah, I'm so writing this with an evil grin on my face...because this is one of those things that just works!
Now, you wouldn’t be on here if you didn’t enjoy the darker side of fiction, and you really can’t get much darker than this. So when the summary asked whether or not Bella will let him show her madness...think of Heath Ledger as the Joker and ask yourself the same question. Yeah...just what I thought. Now, Bella is already vamped up in this fic, and still with Edward at the beginning, but certain things happen that...shall we say, puts a strain on their relationship? Blood, gore and naughty, naughty happenings leave you begging for more. It’s twisted, dark, warped, funny, sexy and totally allows you to give over to that part of you that would’ve totally given into Dracula or chosen Spike over Angel or chooses Damian over Stefan.
Come on! Like you would’ve fought against that?

This is well written, the characters are well thought out and the Joker is perfect in all his twisted depravity. Wonderwoundedhearers captures him so well that you hear Heath Ledger whispering in behind your ear...and you love it. And Bella? Well, I’ll let you read it to find out about her character.
Trust me when I say that this gem of a fic is something that should be on ALL reading and alert lists, It should be read and reviewed and showered with bloody praise!
