Dark Authors Week Presents...Maitressesaint

Tell me a bit about Maitressesaint the writer. Do you have a specific writing process.

Maitressesaint

I never did before. I just wrote leisurely, but eventually the update pressure got to me, so now I am writing my stories until they are complete and posting. I usually write in my bed with music on; it’s where I’m the most comfortable and I find it easier to write when I’m in my own element.

What is it about Darksper that intrigues you?

 I think it’s the dominate side of him. He’s stereotypically everything a man should be, but never is.

The Darksper you have created in Haunted is pretty scary. Where did you come up with him?

Maitressesaint

 A dream actually. I’m about to spoil a little bit of the story, so close your eyes if you don’t want to know, but I had a dream that Jasper kidnaps Bella and all but tortures her. He is very dark, nearly sadistic and gets off on fear, but Bella doesn’t fear him so naturally he is annoyed and will do all he can to change that.

Do you normally read dark fics? And if so, are there any authors or fics that you feel really get the “dark” on.

 My first Darksper was You’ll Be Mind and I have been hooked since. I read every dark fic I can find. There are so many authors, geez, um… Izzy of course with Faith In You. Lilly Monroe. I love anything by Cullen818 and add Jasper’s Darlin’ Kathy to the mix and that’s just… genius.

What is the best part about writing fanfiction for you?

It’s relaxing. My very own escape from reality and I’ve started venturing into other stuff too. I’ve found love in writing.

Do you have a specific plan in mind for the direction of Haunted? Any hints or teasers you’d like to share with your eager readers?
