Bella endures the dark side of LA. After being abducted and taken into the Hollywood Hills, she learns that humans are not at the top of the food chain. Can she escape or will she fall victim to a treacherous vampire? ExB/OOC/Dark Themes/No rape

I have been meaning to read this fic forever and ever and ever and I finally found time the other day to sit and get engrossed in this little gem of horror. Here are my thoughts after finally deciding to do so. 

Bella Swan has been abducted from her life as a full time, working student and taken to a secluded castle in the Hollywood Hills. She soon finds out that her abductors are the things nightmares are made of. 

Bella is different from the others who have been taken just like she has, because she can't be controlled like they can. She has the ability to block most of her captors and renders herself useless to them. That is until the wickedly dark Edward tries to crack open her mind using his own ideas and theories. He's determined to open her mind to him and he will do what ever he has to do in order to hear her thoughts, no matter how evil, because he is the definition of the word. 

Wow. That is the word I think of when I read this story. It captured me from the beginning. Not that there is a shit load of stuff going on as far as horror or excitement in this first chapter, but there is this really well written and thought out start that gets you so invested in Bella's character that you feel connected to her. You want to cheer for her no matter what, because she is strong and independent and you just want to be her best friend from the start. By the end of the first chapter (which is pretty long by the way) we have a creepy feeling that some really bad shit is fixing to go down and it's amped up a notch or eight by the appearance of a stranger, one who has you swooning but creeped the fuck out at the same time. 

As the second chapter starts, holy shit so does the ride. The angst and adrenaline that flows out of this dear writer is amazing. The following chapters are just as good and Raggdoll does an awesome job of making you scared shitless right along with Bella with every new chapter and the more details we find out about her abductors. 

And Edward, wow, he is so amazingly scary and frighting. He is the ultimate darkward for sure. He scares the hell out of me and all I have to say is that I am so glad I don't live in this fic and that I'm not Bella Swan infuriating him with an ability I have no control over. To put it point blankly, I want to marry him and have his babies, because I am such a hoor for Darkward and Darksper, which we get a little of too which makes this fic even better. 

I don't want to give much away because honestly, this story hasn't played out like I thought it would in the eight chapters posted so far, so I'll let you discover the rest on your own, because I know you'll want to read this story. This fic is so deliciously dark and I have been a fan of Raggdolls writing since I first read "Lions Eat Lambs", another brilliant Darkward fic, and I was not disappointed here. Run to read this and give it some love, because I promise you won't know what hit you.
