This was written for the Beyond the Pale Contest where it took 3rd place in the voter's choice. So, what that means is, you get a well developed first chapter that totally leaves you wanting more. The story can be found on The Writer's Coffee Shop Library where you'll have to register to read, but it's definitely worth the few seconds it'll take you to sign up. Trust me!
Oh, this Emmett is genius. Right from the first chapter you'll see why he qualifies as dark. Emmett is, "Oh My Gawd!" You're going to love his sweet nature and how he is so attentive to Bella's needs. It may not even bother you when you find out just what he did to get the girl of his dreams. And, really, I can't say anymore than that because by the end of the first chapter you're gonna be left with your jaw hanging open. This fic contains a major twist!
This is a brilliant find. And, I really think you'll be pulled in immediately, I know I was. rmcrms5 totally draws you in and paints a perfect picture of how we can sometimes get ourselves into a situation that isn't easy to get out of. Bella soon realizes that her life isn't exactly what she thought it would be, but her options appear limited.
I'm very curious to see where this is headed. I'm wondering if Emmett will get darker as this fic goes along. Either way, it doesn't matter because I'm in it for the long haul.
