Darksper Fic Rec with GemmaLisaX

Hi there! This is my first foray into the Darkest Temptations world and I have been somewhat greedy and chosen two stories.  They’re both by my wonderfully talented fic wife and love of my fic life, Carolinagirl1275 and I can’t get enough of either of them.

Finding Me by Carolinagirl1275

If you enjoy a fic that delves right into Jasper’s mind, drags you in there with it, shakes you up and holds you down...then this is the fic for you.  Carolinagirl1275 writes such an amazing Jasper that I find myself gushing all over her writing in my reviews...and on Twitter...and over email.  She has Jasper’s personality and mind set down to a T and you can’t help but be impressed by it.  It’s set just after the infamous ‘I wanna eat you’ birthday scene, and the Cullen’s are making their moonlight flit outta town and away from Bella.  This, to start off with, is all about Jasper.  His fears, his worries, and most of all his struggle to find a balance between the good and bad inside of him.  Jasper is on a mission to find himself, to come to terms with the man he was, the man he is and the man he wants to be.  And boy do we wanna be along for the ride!  Carolinagilr1275 gives us a peek into his human and vampire past as well as his family life, his relationships and the family dynamic that we never got to see through Bella’s eyes.  What makes this interesting to me is his struggle to find resolution between his light and darker halves.  He knows what he is, what he’s capable of and the danger that he poses to those around him.  And not just the human population either.  He doesn’t so much want to tame his inner monster (which I would totally help him with!  Just saying) as that he wants to integrate it with himself in a more manageable way.  Which...again...I would totally help him with that in any way, shape or form that I can possibly think of.  Oh the possibilities!  It really is one of my ‘drop everything to go read’ fics.  I don’t wanna give anything away, so my hands are tied with the details that I can pass on.  But, I can say that this is one fic that has to be read.

So...on to the next one, The Beginning of Hell by Carolinagirl1275

This fic is only three chapters in at the moment, but I tell you...it is looking like it’s gonna be one hell of a ride.  Jasper is dark and delicious and so swoon worthy you’ll be grinning like an idiot after reading it.  The prologue foreshadows what is to come, as all good prologues do, and then the second chapter is the first in Jasper’s telling of his story.  Let me tell you, reading about how Jasper found out about his gift...gah, there are no words.  What I will say is that I have never wanted to be Maria until reading this fic.  Once again Carolinagirl1275 shows her innate talent at capturing Jasper and portraying him in a way that is simple captivating to read.

I love them both, you’ll love them both...GO...read them...NOW and make sure to leave her some well deserved love!  These are both fics that every Jasper lover should be reading!
