Ahh, Halloween...
It's a fun time of year for most, especially us here at the DT blog. We didn't do a Halloween contest this year, because, well... we do dark and frightening all year long. Hah! It's time to give the other blogs and sites a chance during the year to be twisted and demented. That, however, doesn't mean we don't have a few things in store for you this weekend.
Tomorrow, we will have a very special Halloween segment that each of us has been working very hard on, so please make sure to come back and see what our twisted minds have to share with you.

Summary:
It's Halloween night and the Cullen's have return to Forks to celebrate the holiday at home. But when the rare blood moon illuminates the night, things may not be as they appear...a collection of Halloween o/s's.
Now, on to the reviews by each of the Temptresses:
What a different spin on the Twilight series. This is absolutely perfect for the Halloween season. TaintedDarkInuShemeeko came up with a brilliant concept, so if you're in the mood for some autumn folklore, but still need your Cullen fix,check this one out. The fic is set after Breaking Dawn and mixes some of the wolf history with the cold ones past. See what happens when the "Blood Moon" passes over Forks and wreaks some havoc. Two unsuspecting lovers will get caught in the middle of two ancient lovers trying desperately to reunite. I love the eerie vibe the story "possesses". This is a fantastic, under-rated one shot. Its one of the more interesting reads I've found.
When our resident Mistress of the Dark asked us to do a group rec for Halloween, who am I to say
no? *wonders if it’s even possible to say no to the Dark Mistress* I was more than excited to get a
look at the one shot that she wanted us to read. As you might have guessed, I love anything dark
and sinister, and I love everything about Halloween. Of course, over here in the UK, Halloween just
isn’t as big a deal as it is over in the US, but we hold our own. Maybe I’ll be dancing naked under the
moon come midnight? I doubt it, it’s freaking cold here right now!
So...onto the story...
The story starts off all nicey nicey, set after the birth of Nessie, the Cullen’s plan to go back to Forks
for to allow Nessie to spend at least one Halloween with Charlie. Awww, sweet right? And it is, until
a piercing scream rips through the air and everything goes to hell in a hand basket faster than you
can say ‘Trick or Treat’. And I can safely say that there ain’t much candy being handed out in this
one shot. TaintedDarkinuShemeeko sets the mood for the fic in the first paragraph, confusion is
rampant the characters race towards the screams, trying to figure out who it is that’s hurt and who/
what it is that’s causing the screaming in the first place. The moon plays a huge part in this, and the
writer brings in an aspect from the books that I've never seen used as a main story line before in
fanfiction. Paul has just gone...well, he’s gone all Wolfman crazy and howling at the moon...among
other things. You are with them every step of the way as you try and figure out what the hell is
going on, who’s doing what and who is who and...well, you get the picture. But, I don’t want to go
into the details, I hate to give too much away.
It’s dark, intelligent, sexy and a great twist at the end. It’s one of those fics that leave you
think ‘ooooh, riiiiiight’ and nodding at the screen, simply agreeing with its Halloween greatness.
Go read it...the Darkest Temptations said so! *glares*

WOW! First thought. That was a very tantalizing, descriptive and totally fuckawesome o/s. I have to say besides the fact that the story's plot was original it was also captivating. I'm no dog fan as most of you know so when I started reading I was telling them to shred his ass. But as I read on my interest was spiked to a higher level.
The use of the factual information and the knowledge of the main characters was outstanding. It was like a soap opera. You had the dog, the vamps and the human. Who would come out victorious? Who was the one that was needing to be saved. Could she be saved.
"As Carlisle and I struggled with our choices, Bella burst forth, sinking her teeth into her cousin's arm. Welcoming a new member had never crossed our minds however, it looked like we were going to be doing just that.
I just stared in disbelief at my wife. "Bella?"'I didn't swallow Edward, so just relax. I wasn't going to let her die like that. Phoebe was too gentle to die like that.'
Her thoughts were heated and cold so unlike my Bella.
Carlisle's thoughts entered my mind again. 'Let it be, Edward. Her reasoning while not sound makes sense. At least for her right now, what's done can not be undone.'
There was no way I could argue with Carlisle because I knew he was right. I couldn't dwell on Bella's choice. Phoebe was bleeding out before we arrived. Carlisle's attempt to trying to stop the blood flow would have worked if so much hadn't soaked into the ground around her.
Carlisle's golden eyes locked with my own.
'The change is happening faster then I expected it to, considering the lost of blood. We need to get her home.'"
I love a fic, whether it be and o/s or a multi chapter that can keep me on the edge of my seat. And this one did. Great job babe and look forward to more of your twisted little mind to write more.
There’s nothing like a good possession, I always say. That, a little neck stretch, and some pea soup can get you through the coldest winter nights. *smirks* Which is also why I think this is a sleeper fic for Halloween. The gang’s all here, relatively speaking, but someone else or something else has come for a leeetle trick or draining...er, I mean treating. A wolf is not himself, and Bella’s cousin come-for-a-visit is probably going to be stickin’ around for a lot longer than she planned. Whatever it is, it’s got one thing on his mind, or her mind, or well, you’ll see.
Oh, and speaking of Bella, she’s not quite…herself. I mean, after witnessing what she did, and getting a little toothy at the mouth, you can’t really blame the girl. Can ya? Given that particular…mood enhancer…I'd shake my little tailfeather right home to my vampirehunk hubs too, throw on a little sumtin, a verylittle sumtin, and tell him to whip out his magic vamp wand too.
But if I’m being honest, and in keeping with the possession theme and all…
All I know is that when a fic has Edward saying the line, “Oh gods, Bella, fuck me already.”
I don’t just possess Bella.
I become her. Yes, indeedy. Muwahaha. Enjoy this twisted little romp, my DT sistahs. Happy, and Humpy Halloween!
I was tweeted this OS a few days ago by the lovely @TaintedDarkTwi, (for those wanting to find her on twitter) and thought, "Oh, What the hell. I'll give it a go". I love Halloween and all things ghoulish so to speak. Surprise!!! Bet you didn't know that. (snorts)
The story starts out making you think that you are going to see a nice happy Halloween with Edward, Bella, Nessie and Jake, well boy are we wrong. Almost immediately we are thrown into the WTF realm with screams coming from the rez, (nods). What could possibly be going on there? Edward sends Bella and his daughter away to investigate.
What he finds when he gets there is pure horror. Something is viciously wrong with Paul and everyone is trying to figure it out what has happened to him. I won't go into details about what they find him doing or who they find him doing it to, but let's just say it's not for the faint of heart.
Bella starts acting strangely and makes her way home. Once Edward has a very odd experience with Paul's mind himself, he returns to her. We get some hot smexy times, with Edward saying the words that make me fall over and die of hotness.
""Oh gods, Bella, fuck me already."
PANTY! DROPPING!
The next few paragraphs reveal the mystery of everyone's odd behavior under the blood moon. I think my jaw dropped.
This OS has a fantastic build to it. From the very beginning you get this creepy feeling that something big is going down, but you'd never imagine the ending. The build up was perfect for the jaw dropping end.
Go give this OS a chance. It's perfect for Halloween and I promise you won't be disappointed. From the summary we are given that this will actually turn into a collection of Halloween OS's. How awesome is that? I'm very excited to see what else you come up with my dear.
